Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania who graduated with a diploma in graduate studies at the University of Miami. When she arrived in New York City, she was hired as a CBS Sports Video Coordinator. When she was working for WTVJ-TV, Miami, she was awarded the Sports Emmy. Also, she worked at WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. She joined ESPN in 1993 and was one of the anchors for ESPN2 that was launched. The station was ESPN2 between 1993 and 1999 prior to moving on to Fox Sports. In 1999, she was re-admitted to ESPN and currently serves as the host of "Monday Night Countdown".
