Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film as well as stage since the late 1970s. Gifted thespian, she is working in the world of professional acting since the past 27. In 1990, she performed her stage debut with an Off Broadway production of The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley. In The Perfect Tribute, she was given her first TV appearance a year later. In 1992 she got her first big break when she was cast in Basic Instinct as a minor role. The Firm is where she first made her appearance as a female actor opposite Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Through the 1990s she collaborated alongside some of the most renowned names in the field, such as Gwyneth Paltrow as Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values.
